Yeah you can do it on any mouse but you're still abusing a bug on a mouse, and bug abuse of any sort shouldn't be allowedPosted on 06 December 2015 - 12:40 PM
One of the man things I want to address is that other servers such as kohi allow this clicking style, I guess it is possible to add a feature to an antcheat that detects most autoclickers from butterfly clicking :p-Unsighted

There have been players who were banned by AntiSkid for butterfly clicking.

I got banned on kohi for the same thing. When I proved how I got banned to Prplz, he did something where the check no longer autobanned, but im not sure if that was just for me or he completely disabled the check.

You're clicking with two fingers and that is pretty much the same thing as having a macro to click again for every click with one finger. What if I got someone to click on my trackpad and then connected 2 more mice and had people click on them? All forms of cheating imo.

The difference is that I am clicking on one mouse with one hand, and that's what makes it not cheating. Your point about clicking on multiple mice is completely arbitrary - unrelated in any way to the topic of butterfly clicking.
By this logic:

A person jitterclicking would be pretty much the same thing as a person with a randomized autoclicker, a form of cheating imo.
[edit] after reading it again, I think what you're trying to say is that butterfly clicking is like having a left mouse button double click macro, and I've already answered why that is wrong in a previous response.
But Archy already said that they wouldn't change the rule, so why do you even have to comment?

I don't have to comment, I chose to comment because I'm stating my opinion. I don't care what Archy decides about the rule and what you said does not change my mind.
"I am clicking on one mouse with one hand"
Now if only you were clicking on one mouse with one finger…

Just like TewChaynz (21k subs), Saucey (6.8k subs), oOYawnOo (3.2k subs), and cellsaver* (6.9k subs). Tell their subs that they aren't legit.
*he clicks in a method similar to butterfly clicking.

… okay… kinda the whole purpose of this thread was to talk about whether that rule was fair or not - you bringing this up is absolutely pointless.
I have no interest in continuing this thread, read everything else I've posted as to why butterfly clicking is legit.

i beleive many people have made the mistake of doing it and at least this should be made a public anouncementPosted on 06 December 2015 - 11:06 PM

At the beginning of this was already stated that by butterfly clicking you're sending more click packets than the amount of times you're physically pressing down the button. How is that even remotely 'legit' when it's literally the same concept as doubleclicking.

Its legit because you aren't going out of your way to download cheats, its built into pretty much every mouse, and ANYONE can click like this. Its just like jitterclicking but better, some people such as myself are bad at jittering and I find butterfly clicking much lesd tiring.

You state that it's legit because you don't have to "go out of your way" to download cheats, you can do it on most mice, and that it can be done by anyone. Most gaming-oriented mice ship with software nowadays that lets you set macros. Would you say that macros are legit too? They fit all your requirements of legitness.
Butterfly clicking is not legit on Badlion because Archy has specified that it is not legit. You can not say it's legit because it is not, however you can say that it should be legit. I believe that butterfly clicking is cheating because you are using two fingers to click up to speeds that are not achievable through clicking with one finger. I see no difference between setting a macro to click whenever you click or clicking with two fingers. Both achieve similar speeds, but I could be doing the first and tell people that I am doing the second without compromising any sort of hand coordination.

Well, you could prove you are not cheating, for example Badware recorded himself, and yesterday Freek screenshared me and I managed to get banned while butterfly clicking again

Kohi allows butterfly clicking, I know that for sure, but what im unsure about is if antiskid can ban for it.
