Thanks for the feedback and "+1". The implementation would be very much like a "Ore Frenzy" game, where items are dropped at certain ratios and amounts every time you mine or kill a mob or mine an ore. It would just require coding for the gamemode to actually happen.

It's an interesting idea, and I don't entirely hate it.

Could be a special, very rare, gamemode.


A gamemode like this though would be treated as a troll, which would mean statless.

Great to hear about it @LobbsterBisque , I hope it can make it to a troll soon or someday!

Seems like a good new gamemode for an FFA.
I didn't watch the whole video, but it seems like a gamemode in which you kill mobs to get a chance for rare op items and basically rule the Nether.

I'd Love to see it implemented soon! The feedback is great and everyone is positive, just is anyone coding it? @McNerdx

1.Maybe make bed explosions bigger
2.Magma Cubes should give fire resistance potions
3.If you kill a ghast then a gold block spawns(as a block and not as an item)
4.Nether Quartz ore should drop something special

So there is a chance of getting OP items or not? Games based to probabilities instead of skill makes the game luck based and unbalanced. I wouldn't play this myself

Thank you for the feedback. That's cool that you wouldn't play this, I'll just try and explain what you've said before: [@freekkiller]

    There is a chance of getting variated OP items. Emphasis on variated, a player will always get something decent. Also, this is just the basis of the idea, it can be changed added too and manipulated to seem better, more efficient and effective for players. I don't how to do that in code, hence why I gave the basis of the idea to the community posts.


    Also, UHC is very luck oriented anyway, it all depends on a "lucky combo", "lucky cave" (mining right amount of diamonds and gold), "lucky coords" (to either 0,0 snowball, or border camp), "lucky kills", players can have unbelievable amounts of lucky kills on players with OP stuff, there are tonnes of players who have taken out Full Dia Players with Full Iron, tonnes of players i.e. ZMCNikolai, who always manages to found the right time to come to 0,0, the right time to clean, like other players that upload UHC's on a regular basis i.e. xNestorio etc.

    However, the game can be based on the likes of skill in pvp, skill in caving, going to the nether, going on a horse, but what I've explained above works together with the luck oriented features, the Nether OP gamemode would just add a format to the game where a player can get access to more advanced items, people could have a second option if they couldn't get enchanted, or needed healing, "Go To The Nether", because it is OP, this encourages more nether rushing and more interesting Nether Fights.

This game is already lucky based, this gamemode is simply just to add some fun and a new variates concept on the "luck" for UHC's on Badlion and for the players.

Right, I agree the game is luck-based at times, which isn't necessarily a good thing. I don't think adding more luck-based features will improve gameplay. I simply don't like the concept of killing mobs for items randomized (OP) items. Furthermore, going to the nether does actually already give you a lot of advantages if you find a castle. I'd go to the nether if I was in a UHC.
