I love the reversion to distanced based damage, but there are a few problems I have with the ladder:~ there's no punch; if the player pearls, the fight becomes close range bow spamming with little damage taken
~ speed 1 makes dodging and strafing more monotonous, boring, and narrows the skill gap
~ long range needs to do more damage; it's not enough
I personally think it should be changed back to speed 2, and if pearls are being included, punch should be added to the bow too
Thoughts?

I can agree with adding Punch back into the kit.Not sure about the speed 2 thing. Majority wanted speed 1.

The majority of people aren't that good. Speed 1 limits the variability of where people can be at any moment, making shooting much easier. Speed 1 dampens the skill cap and increases how much of archer is pure luck (which people who lose to actual good players would want).
