There is an alert in the chat every few mins which tells "Badlion is recruting Arena PvP Moderators " so people who think that they can fit into the job should always apply and use this opportunity.

I'm sorry, but I cannot really give a sure answer to this question, if you are enough mature and ready check the application instructions read them carefully and apply the Head of the area for which you applied will decide.
Edit: I have realized that your ban was recent you should wait a few months before applying.

I wouldn't necessarily say it has to do with me being retired. I would have said the same thing a few months ago back when I was a staff member. I've spent about two years on off moderating the server, and having played a lot on alternate accounts, I've seen the staff team from two different perspectives for a long time. I think the staff team as a whole is great and helpful, but I won't deny that there are a few bad eggs that don't do their job properly. As a mod, the only thing that physically adds up are the # of bans and mutes you give, but one doesn't automatically become a good moderator by getting the highest in both areas. Moderating is all about moderating. You're managing a server to keep it running smoothly, and you have to be willing to do a whole lot of extra stuff if you want to be a good mod. Responding to PMs is one of those musts; a moderator is absolutely not fulfilling their duty if they can't respond to players' inquiries and requests. You are, after all, indirectly a role model, a manager and potentially a miracle worker. Believe it or not, it's very possible to do all this with 750 players to look after. Yes, you're going to miss a few here and there, but honestly, if you want to be called a good mod, you should put the time in to work towards helping /as many/ people as you possibly can. There's a reason your name is up there in the tab list and a reason you have the permissions to solve problems. I know some of you mods don't have the privilege of playing on alts, and I know some of you mods aren't going to risk losing a fight to respond to a silly question. I do, however, want you to put in more effort with your moderation. You're not a mod to play, and not a mod to ignore people – you're a mod because you want to resolve problems; otherwise, you shouldn't have volunteered.
To be honest, though, a huge problem admittedly was activity. I am no exception; I was extremely inactive in my last few months as moderator, and I should have stepped down much sooner. A lot of regular mods were the same, and in fact why many were demoted. I was the oldest non-admin/dev on the staff team besides Jacob, and he's pretty much a ghost now. I hope these new trials/mods don't follow that path, and I hope this manager system helps ensure that.

Sometimes I turn off my pms when I'm recording/streaming because I'm pretty lenient with punishing for what I get /msg'd, and a lot of the stuff I get sent is far from family friendly, to say the least.Posted on 29 January 2016 - 09:12 PM

You do realize there is 700+ people on at all timesResponding to everyone's /report is almost impossible when at times its a 1:100 Mod-to-Player ratio
If you have an idea how to make a 1:1 Mod-to-Player ratio I'd love to hear it

@Niki_Averin think about it, you have a team of mods that get about 100 reports a minute, and the mods are still humans, they can't meet up to EVERYONE's needs. Sometimes if you are on the a different proxy then the mods, I don't think they will go to that server for every report. It wouldn't be too fair if they couldn't have fun as well, so its ok to have some breaks.Posted on 29 January 2016 - 09:58 PM
I honestly think the best course of action here is to accept more mod appsPosted on 29 January 2016 - 09:59 PM

well then they need more mods! its simple. mods dont have a "break" i know atleast 20 people who agree with me. Mods do not reply or help ANYONE! yes there are ALOT of reports but form what i have seen and many others have seen. Trial mods TP to ALOT more players and ALOT more players get banned. if you watch chat 1 person gets banned (excluding gcheat) about every 5 minutes. mostly for spam….
