New Rule for f3 + a Added
This has been added to the rules and takes effect immediately. This has already been an "unspoken" rule that is now joining as an official rule.

  • f3 + a is PROHIBITED from all usage on Badlion unless you are doing it to fix glitched chunks (and you have to be able to prove it too). This includes a single usage or multiple usages of f3 + a. The simple rule is "if your chunks aren't bugged out, don't touch it".
  • .
I think it's pretty straight forward. The general philosophy here is "don't do anything to give yourself an unfair advantage" which is why GCheat now bans for that reason.

If we need to tweak the wording we will, but at the moment I think this covers most usage issues with the debug feature in Minecraft.

EDIT: Clarification. GCheat does not ban for f3 + a usage. I was making a simple comparison. Just trying to explain here that doing things with your client in general to give yourself an unfair advantage is frowned upon here.

Refreshing chunks because of FPS exists, too. Otherwise, good addition. A long needed rule!

I think this part is pretty confusing. Some people think that it means that GCheat now bans for spamming chunks. Unless it does now..?

From a programming perspective, I don't see how refreshing the chunks fixes your FPS. Unless you have chunks rendered that should no longer be rendered.

    Things to improve FPS:

    - Don't use animations in Texture Packs
    - Don't use shaders
    - Use Optifine
    - Don't have a potato computer

I noticed that when I installed Optifine all my chunk issues disappeared.

If someone wants to show me a video of it helping FPS I'm down to see it.

I don't know why it fixes FPS but it does actually help when you're frames are choppy sometimes…
