I always use f3 + a to find kids camping in skywars ripPosted on 14 February 2016 - 02:44 PM
@MasterGberry I believe f3+a'ing to fix FPS should still be allowed, I saw you said it doesn't make sense that it works like that but why else do people do it when FPS freaks? It's a well known useage of the feature and should still be allowedPosted on 14 February 2016 - 04:51 PM
Allow me to say that if you are in fact having FPS issues F3+A isn't always effective. The best way is to simply relog or (in more severe cases) restart your game/computer. In my past experiences F3+A has never improved my frame-rate.So the ONLY reasons to use F3+A (for those who need further explanation) are:
Chunks loading slowly, Unloaded chunks, Glitched chunks/blocks (Which can sometmies be caused by 20+ Render distance), Invisible Chunks/Blocks

How can you catch someone if they are using f3+a if GCheat cant detect itPosted on 16 February 2016 - 11:45 PM
Then you'll be fine as A is used to go left.Posted on 17 February 2016 - 01:03 PM
Is F3+s still allowed ?!?I usually use that before I record, if my fps is suddenly, or if my sound is off and need to restart it that way.

Nah, I use 1.7. Could be my OptiFine. I set the render option to "smooth", as I keep multi-core for my other programs :3Posted on 18 February 2016 - 06:29 PM
From what I know f3+a only helps with fps IF you normally have stable fps and it suddenly starts getting choppy, I believe when it gets choppy the chunk rendering might have messed up somewhere idk this probably doesn't make any sense. If you usually don't have good fps for example 20-30 f3+a won't help all that much so there really is no point unless stable fps starts getting choppy for example if you get 100+ fps then it suddenly goes down to 50-60 then f3+a once at most twice will get it back to normal. This is just from my experience.Posted on 19 February 2016 - 02:38 AM

No, F3 + A is not allowed in this case. Please re-read the initial post, you can't use f3 + a to find other players because this is giving you an unfair advantage.
But everyone can do this, why is it a advantage EVERYONE can do it.

I dont get it, how does this give you an unfair advantage if everyone can do it? sorry if Im sounding dumb but i rly dont understandPosted on 04 March 2016 - 07:57 AM
The rule is actually so stupid because it's not hard to accidentally hit f3+a.for example, if you're on a horse at 0,0 and you're holding down w and a to go to the left, then you hit f3 to check your cords, it will reload your chunks.
