I have an idea that might be cool for the Elo system. where elo is based off of the win but a little off of your hearts remaining. i also think that the max elo drained should be 20 instead of 31Example : Your against a 2.1k and you're a 2k you both have an extremely close fight. like 1 heart left . and he gets 10 elo for winning and you get 5-10 elo depending on how many hearts are left
Before
Your elo 2050
his elo 2110
After
Your elo 2060
His elo 2120
Now its a win/win situation and i think this may also reduce saltiness because everyone gains some.
Elo gain based on hp table i came up with
3.0 hp 3 elo
2.0 hp 5 elo
1.0 hp 7 elo
0.5 hp 9-10 elo based on winners elo

I think the more hearts your opponent has when you are killed by them should result in a larger drain from you. The lower their health the less elo you lose because it's a closer fight. Example:I'm a 1850 and fight a 1400. He wins with 5+ hearts = -31 elo from me. If he wins with 2- hearts = -20 elo from me. This could reduce draining as well

Yeah that sounds reasonable. However would it make it worse if you got the 20 elo and then took like 5 elo for being close
end the end that makes more sense
ex Pronomical has 1700 elo and wins the match and gets the 20 elo but losses 5 because AudaxMC was close he gets 5 elo and he's a 1800.
what are your thoughts on that?
BTW AudaxMC im being silly about putting me with the win cause i dont know you're skill LOL

Lets say im in a game of build, I have 2338 elo, and the other guy is 2200. I gain 10 elo from 2200's with the current system. Lets say I fuck him up real hard, he gaps 3 times and i dont heal once. So he gets me to 3 hearts and i win. Are you saying I should gain less elo, even though i dicked on him? Your hearts when you kill someone dont represent the fight AT ALL-1
