@chay_on9jai, please shut up. You are turning this well written thread into a pile of shit.Last edited on 22 May 2016 - 09:28 AM by eSnowy
All of you here are just immature. If you are going to continue with this arguments, you should end it or go somewhere else. There is no need to argue and talk 'shit' about eachother, this was suppose to be a good thread without any arguments, there was no reason for an argument. Thread will be locked.Smh.

I feel that a Singapore server will only benefit players from that region (southeast asia), and not for players from east asia. Considering the fact that East Asian Badlion players are increasing (especially in Japan, e.g. players like this dude https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCATnRQyn0glnO9-YCRial5g and although a non-badlion player, this guy https://www.youtube.com/user/DJPlay321/playlists?sort=dd&view=1&shelf_id=7), I believe that the server should be hosted in Japan, where there is better DDoS protection and better speeds.Posted on 22 May 2016 - 09:33 AM
I was just talking about the argument, not people seperately. You stated your own opinion then couple posts later, the argument started. You could have just stopped and not continued that arguement and same goes for everyone in that argument.Posted on 22 May 2016 - 09:35 AM

Oh, and @chay_on9jai, I didn't mean to call you out in particular, sorry. I just saw your argument with the other dude (which I don't even remember the name of), and wanted to stop it. I saw your comments on this and replied before actually thinking. You do have a point, you just wrote -1 and then it escalated from there, so let's just forget what happened, shall we?Last edited on 22 May 2016 - 09:45 AM by H2Q

actually japan only benefits southeast asia and east, while singapore benefits east asia, southeast asia, south asia and middle east as well
but for now the server should be hosted in japan until of course…ovh releases their singapore dc
singapore has good speeds too
in fact, singapore is the 3rd richest country in the world
also, ppl in southeast asia(except for brunei, singapore and vietnam) has a normal internet speed, while ppl in japan have good internet so it shouldnt be a problem really for them

@H2Q, a Singapore server will not benefit players from East Asia that much. Japan-Singapore usually is around 100ms while Singapore-Japan is like 70 (played in both SG and JP CS:GO servers, with 4 other teammates/online friends all from Singapore) and internet is not as stable and fast in Singapore as it is in Japan. I'm curious if there are any players at all in the Middle East that are playing Minecraft (except for my 1 wealthy friend), and I'm pretty sure that there are less than 25 Badlion donors from the Middle East. Same thing goes for South Asia; an old friend of mine from Sri Lanka told me that many people are not wealthy, and he is one of the extremely lucky people. So, even if a SG server benefits more areas, there are more players in East Asia who will be able to afford ranks, and more players in general.P.S. My friends' families are doing very well here in Japan, approx. 70% of them are earning 80k or more annually. We have good gaming computers, and we plan on donating IF Badlion makes a good Japanese server.

Also, the population is very different. Eastern Asia has approximately 1,620,807,000 people, meanwhile Southeeastern Asia has approx. 618,793,000 people. Furthermore, the amount of people that play Minecraft, and especially Badlion are different, too, and once again, the amount of people that can actually afford ranks are different, too. Just look at the GDP - 300 billion dollars (SG) versus 4 trillion dollars (JP). It shows how financially powerful Japan is right now, and since Japan's money is being distributed pretty well, that indicates how many people can afford Minecraft and/or Badlion ranks, and a good computer.Posted on 22 May 2016 - 10:26 AM

DUDE we get it. Japan is the wealthiest country in Asia we get it. Stop pummeling it on our faces for the god knows how many times.I live in Indonesia and i got around 60-70 ms on Kohi.asia (which was hosted in Japan) so Southeast Asia should be good with Badlion Asia being hosted in Japan.

Okay, I connected to 2 Singapore servers on speedtest.net and got nearly identical results (110ms, 6mbps down and 15mbps up), but when I connected to 2 Japanese (Tokyo) servers, I got an average of 30 ms, 60 mbps down and 42 mbps up. (I live in an island, so it takes 30 ms to reach Tokyo.) That means there is a MASSIVE bottleneck when I connect to Singapore servers. A friend of mine from Singapore connected to the same Japanese servers and got an average of 110 ms, 28 mbps down and 20 mbps up, and when he connected to the 2 Singapore servers that I connected to earlier, he got 9 ms, 35 mbps down and 40 mbps up. There is a smaller bottleneck there. If you don't understand the whole lot of text I wrote above, here is a simple explanation.Me (Island in JPN, pretty expensive provider) connects to Singapore: 110ms, 6 down, 15 up. If connect to Tokyo, Japan: 30 ms, 60 down, 42 up.
Friend (SG, cheaper provider) connects to Tokyo, Japan: 110ms, 28 down 20 up. If connect to Singapore: 9 ms, 35 down 40 up.

@Pratama, I belive China is the wealthiest country in Asia? I'm not sure about that, I didn't do much research. I'm not pummeling it in your faces, I'm just saying Japan would be a good host and one of the biggest reasons is the economic stability. I hope my previous posts don't have a cocky vibe.Posted on 22 May 2016 - 11:35 AM
