I don't have much to say but based off reading staff abuse reports, to just brush off on what to punish and what to not. Make sure they know what the rules are so that they don't punish off of a "I think this is punishable."I joined when there was a 2-3 block pillar where you spawned and you could go forward and change your kit through chest and go to ranked with signs.
Didn't play much then but did a lot next season.

if i see another false ban from yms… could you maybe teach some of the uneducated how to properly recordalso pretty sure most of the chat mods only got the rank for their own benefit to only mute when someone talks straight to them after a match but who knows

In my opinion AU needs much more staff I have seen people say "kys" or "easy cunt" and get away with it. Everyone complains about how AU is really toxic but there is a very simple solution, *ADD MORE STAFF* the badlion staff team was definitely better in 2013 and 2014 but I think that the new staff isn't half bad they just need some guidance. I think the Staff team does a good job of managing appeals and other things on the badlion website, but I don't think they watch the in game /report system at all. Whenever I fight a really obvious hacker, like a bhop hacker, I instantly /report them. But they never get banned. Even 5-10 minutes after my fight. I don't believe they spend alot of time watching players and making sure they're playing fairly. Whenever a Staff member is on, they're almost always (around 95%) in a match or game. (/sp). Yes, I know that the staff wants to play matches too, but It's like they're just regular players. Not paying attention to any messages or reports.Thanks for reading.

I don't play much anymore, I've kinda drifted away from the server in the past 6 months. The staff plays way more than they moderate, and although I understand why they want to play, they still need to moderate. There's an insanely high player/staff ratio and they need to do more in order to cover that.The staff has also gotten to the point where some staff members won't mute their friends for things they'd mute other people for, but I haven't seen too much of that. Sometimes, it seems like certain staff mute too strictly while others mute strangely- sometimes they mute for a certain thing and sometimes they don't. Besides that, it's frustrating to see a mod talking to a friend in chat and ignoring others.
I can't really say too much because I don't know if it's gotten better or not recently. I've been playing since mid/early 2014.
Edit: From what I've seen the /report command might aswell be removed. It has virtually no effect, and I understand that the staff can't view them all, but it doesn't change the fact that It doesn't work.

I myself think the team, has gone a bit down since a while ago maybe because of the playerbase but the team has never answered, me I've asked countless times for someone to come watch this cheater who kept draining me, he/she enjoyed a nice chat with another user in public chat and didn't even care. Most staff members will never answer you however Hivilk will answer you all the time, which is nice I'm just saying some aspects of the team could of been improved.Thank @Archybot @MasterGberry (sorry if I wrote your names wrong).

Also, the report command has no purpose like mentioned above the chat is spammed so fast, staff can't even see it and if they do there is a 10/10000 chance, it will be looked at or someone will teleport, may be overreacting but I'm 2166 elo, and I haven't been helped by a staff member once :PPosted on 20 June 2016 - 10:04 PM

I personally think that staff is not near as well 'trained' as they were when I joined In early June 2014, A lot of hosts break rules such as not being allowed in ts with others or simply ignore questions. Some Arena staff never look at reports and just grind global elo. Some are good, but a lot could be improved.-Tyler

One of my friends got banned by GCheat on ArenaPvP, and we don't know why. He wasn't using any third party programs, just optifine, and a texture pack (not x-ray). He made an appeal saying he didn't know why he got banned, and a staff member didn't tell him why he got banned, he just said, "Denied, you were cheating. Please read the rules to know what is and what is not allowed: https://www.badlion.net/wiki/rules". I understand that staff are busy, but I expected at least a reply saying something. Maybe it would answer my question, maybe say it isn't in his power, deny to give this information, ect.
I feel that this shows either more staff are needed to keep up with the players, this staff member didn't care, this staff member had important things, so he didn't get a chance to reply, or the staff aren't very efficient. (There may be other explanations, but I can't think of any more). I hope that if this is a problem with the staff in general, that it gets fixed.

The staff really ISN'T as dedicated like they used to. I wouldn't say this, but countless times I've just msged a mod "Hey can you just mute this player for me (Gyazo link)" when it is something that can be easily identified as a mute such as "Kys" and "Drink bleach". One mod was streaming and getting their global elo up and ignored my msg altogether. They just need to get their priorities straight.Joined Mid 2014

I wasn't going to post on this thread, but this should be said.Legit like 10 minutes before I posted this there was 2 guys teaming in FFA, and I told a staff member (won't say their name) and they said they he/she was watching them. Then a minute later I asked him/she if he saw them. Then they said "I got them." But then like 5 minutes later they were never kicked. When I went to go spectate them, it said "Cannot spectate this staff member at the moment."
That definitely needs to be fixed.

I think that it is ridiculous to see only 2-5 mods on one NA server, always NA 1, handling 700-1000 players. Doing the math, that is one mod per 140-500 players. That is straight up asinine. I have had multiple situations in which I have encountered a hacker, did everything I could, /reported, pming any mods online (if there are any), spamming "MODS" in chat, and even after all that, I don't get any specs, all I get is "Use /report." I swear, it's like the mods are trained to do this, and coming from a guy who has been staff on multiple well-renowned reddit servers, and a once thriving server called GTAMC, this is straight up ridiculous. Mods are there to catch hackers, not to tell players how to report them and not do jack SHIT about them. I'm trying as hard as I can not to blame the mods, but it's either: a.) Get more staff/spectators on ArenaPvP. or b.) Train the staff differently than to just say "Use /report". This has happened to me way to many times and has resulted in me using net 15 global elo. That is straight up ridiculous.Another thing that really gets me is how unprofessional ChatMods and Mods act in chat and on Twitter. For a server that is willing to blacklist certain servers, is willing to file lawsuits against anyone trying to do anything against you, some of the stff act ridiculously immature. Even today I came across two instances where I saw ChatMods being assholes/passive-agressive to a PLAYER after a loss. I am just so confused as to how you allow STAFF to act like this.

I personally only play on West because of how laggy I am on East, so I'm only going to judge based on what I see on West.I rarely see any staff online, but when they are online, they are very active in keeping the chat somewhat clean and ban plenty of cheaters. Although I'd like to see more activity amongst staff on the West servers, they still have done an exceptionally well in doing their job.

In UHCs recently there have been a lot of hackers. They have apparently changed the respawn rule to where if you do not record someone hacking on you you cant get respawned even if they get banned. People waste there time waiting for the hacker to get banned he eventually does and they don't get respawned. I wouldn't say there are a lot of hackers in arenapvp and the staff do a better job on arena pvp than on UHC. The reason there is a lot more hackers on badlion is because of the kohi merge. I would suggest fixing the UHC overfill then the staff would have a chance of seeing people raying or hacking because when it is a 700 player game the staff wont be able to spec everybody.Joined Start of 2014

I started playing in 2014 and the staff was awesome. If i asked a question they would answer it. Now, it has completely changed.. Expecialy on the Arena PvP side of it. I was really having trouble getting my donator rank on the ts (note that on my main i have donor) and i kept on asking. So i messaged HIVLIK. I asked him…. didnt reply… asked him again 2 min later… didnt reply… and i did this 5 or 6 times… And i ended up getting muted.. In my opinion that is bullshit.. no server should be muting players for asking questions they do not know. "Well Of Your Gonna Grind Elo Then Get A Rank" I Mean Just Like The Reply I Just Read Its A Good Idea To Not Spam Msges But Getting Muted. Now How Much Times Has That Happen Since Badlion Punishments 2.0 Came Out I Mean In A Whole Regular Week He Could Ask This Question Monday Through Friday That's A Whole Week Of Mute And All Those Days Waiting For The Answer For The Whole Week Without It Including The (Weekend!)
