Hi. I've been a west player for quite a while and I honestly fucking hate getting 100ms to Badlion. West was great and made a great balance in the community. However, east players, particularly relevant ones, complained the fuck to the admins. At least, the admins should do us west and mid players a favor, and keep their word on moving to mid.
It honestly annoys me how little they care about their normal players. I understand that west wasn't giving them positive revenue, however, they replace it Asia and fucking South America? Do you actually expect to gain positive revenue from regions from fucking narnia or some shit? It seems like this is such little of a priority to them, that they haven't talked about it since they got rid of west.
If you're an east player and doesn't want mid badlion to become a thing; You are a selfish fuck and honestly want every advantage to win competitive minecraft pvp.

They plan to, they just need to find a suitable host. There isn't a "Move host to Mid" button.Posted on 08 September 2016 - 11:20 PM
They found a west data centre within two months.I'm sure there's lots of reliable DDos protected servers in the mid US.

and also just be patient…ppl from asia used to play on west and sa used to play on east
now they removed west because it was only peaking at 130 ppl and if theres no west the max u would get would be around 140 ping in usa
now they created asia(was peaking 200+ players until japan) and south america(a lot of players). asians used to get 170+ ping(japan excluded) and south americans get 160+ as well except for ppl in central america. they PLANNED on moving east to mid, so just be patient because all they did was PLAN and not promise

They also have to choose a location. They need it to be affordable, fit their needs, easily accessible, there's a lot of criteria.

"Used to"and the owners don't play competitively I believe.

West servers weren't worth it; they didn't profit enough to make West a good investment.

"omg 100ms is horrible!!!!!!""and they replace it with Asia and SA"
I bet you wouldn't be the one complaining if you even experienced what it feels like to play with 270 ping. If you actually presented your points with valid reasoning there would be a reason for me to treat you seriously. I'd take 100ms over 270 any day, besides there's already an announcement stating the servers would be moved.

Creeper's an admin, look at those stats. Also you would not believe how much @Archybot has played competitively in the past. He knows what he's doing. As for the host location, I think they're moving to Chicago. I'd have loved Dallas to be their choice but things happen and they decided to opt for what's better for them. I'm perfectly fine with this. To be honest, your ping should just go down to about 70 if it is moving to The Windy City.

There's a lot less fucking people playing Badlion in Asia than the US. You don't know what you're talking about. And thank god Badlion is finally moving soon. Supposedly.

What the fuck are you on about. Archy never plays.Posted on 23 September 2016 - 09:19 PM
Having more than one NA location isn't financially feasible. Plans to move the NA datacenter to Chicago are pending.Posted on 23 September 2016 - 11:13 PM

He 100% plays other games competitively. He streams them sometimes. I often see him on Discord playing Overwatch, so that's something if you still don't believe me.
