I'm going to have some developmental power here soon, and I'd like to hear what you would change in these gamemodes to make them more popular, while also being the most competitive. If you only have opinion on one or two gamemodes, please also still give it.I have my own ideas, but I'd like to see what you guys think.
EDIT - "more gamemodes" isn't a good suggestion - be specific
EDIT2 - Adding timebomb/fireless/etc isn't gonna bring MiniUHC from it's near death, we need new ideas

Mini UHC: Add more gamemodes like fireless etc.Vault Battles: Make it like sg 2.0 where there is MMR
UHC Meetup: I like it the way it is

The only one I have any real experience with is UHC Meetup. Main issues with that one are the number of teamers (so maybe an internal staff team shift getting people to deal with teams/a policy change making teaming a ban) and how grindy/awkward it can feel, but that's mostly just a UHC thing for me.I'd love to see a team UHC meetup mode, with teams of two or three.

rip Archy deleted my post (I was first for the record don't hate :'()I think you guys should add shrinks in the Build Meetup (maybe only 1 tho) just to kinda force the last two to fight.
Teams in UHC Meetup would be great too (you could either choose your teammate or be thrown into the Meetup with a random one)

UHC Meetup:1. There is a glitch where anyone who spawns within a certain amount of chunks as you will appear to not be wearing armor once the match starts. It's little things like this that can cause a game to be less enjoyable.
2. Randomized enchantments and healing. Perhaps make it so the randomized variables are balanced out so no one gets a super op kit.
Mini UHC:
1. Miniature prizes such as extra ranked matches or maybe a cosmetic case for winning could make this more popular. Nothing big though as it's not too hard to win a mini game.
2. More players with a slightly bigger map. I think the more players, the more fun it will be. Often the final shrink consists of 2-4 players and usually at least one of them camps it out. More players=More action=More fun :)
3. Camping guard in 100x100 to prevent players from digging down too low.
4. 50x50 and 25x25 shrinks
I don't have any suggestions for vault battles as it's basically dead and I haven't been able to get into a game.

Well for one I think mini UHC's should start much quicker. That's one reason people like them, but they still take some time. Maybe lower the player cap, and also just try and overall speed everything up if possiblePosted on 12 October 2016 - 06:02 PM
UHC Meetup1. Make it 24 players and try to incorporate playing people your own skill level by incorporating each players build uhc rating in the matchmaking as it is way to easy to win them right now and it was more fun last season.
2. As @RealBlobRobber said, randomized gear
Mini UHC
1. Obviously new gamemodes (barebones and stuff like that to encourage rushing)
2. It's annoying killing everyone by 15 minutes and then wasting 15 minutes till the shrinks to kill the people who mine the whole game.
3. Make the shrinks at 20 minutes?
4. Maybe 60 player games? these games are way too easy

MiniUHC:
-Adding a tracker would be decent.
-Just make it one queue(FFA and teams like in SG) and let players vote for gamemodes (At least one rush gamemode is forced)
-Add Ratingsystem like in SG. I just think it shows skill better than stats.

Build Uhc meetup1. Fix the no armor glitch. It is annoying to fight the people "without" armor and not aesthetically pleasing.
2. Add an AFK timer so that someone can't wall up on a first map and shift for a whole game. Maybe 2 minutes?
3. Make the kits partially random such as varied healing, 3/4, full proj, etc. This will make it more like uhc as looting armor it's more worth it. Also manure a couple people get a fire said instead of lava, but their main would have to be nerfed.
Mini-UHC
1. Have the shrinks sooner. Like ThatOneCombo said, it's not fun waiting for 15 minutes for 100x100. Also smaller shrinks ought to be added.
2. Gamemodes such as rodless, bowless, ought to be added. Also, the very uncommon uhc scenarios like tracker could be added.
3. A cosmetic case for every 2 wins maybe. That seems fairly balanced.

This has been proposed in the past. I would be a big supporter of this game mode. A team UHC meetup would, I think, attract quite a lot more players who would normally not play a meetup as a solo.

UHC Meetup- Add team meetups as the reason they were added i presume was to practice for 100*100's of uhc's so if you add team ones it would be something people could quickly do as a group thats still funAdd a small reward for winning or something like an extra set of ranked matches for non-donators and a 2nd giftmatches for ppl with ranks would also keep the ppl on the server (shoutout to the guy who suggested this earlier for mini uhc's)
Mini UHC- the thing with mini uhc is that there is not a reason for people to play it over a big uhc or 20 ranked matches in iron ocn because thats basically what it ends up being, if there is a way to give players in-game perks at the start (try to be different from like speed uhc and epicube) to speed up the game and that allow them to get gear quicker to have overall better and more fun fights and then you can lower the time on them because right now they run about as long as a normal rush uhc which is too long for a 24 person basically vanilla game (also see rewards above for this too)

MiniUHC; Make different sizes of people needed to start the game, but according to the size of the game, change the size of the maps. Also, a few different gamemodes might me kinda cool :)
