Why Minecraft as an E-sport needs some change

The skill cap for the game is already hella low…

I feel like part of what makes it low is that so many esports are team games. Badlion is mostly a 1v1 server, even though there are 2v2s and 3v3s.

Yeah, this is a good point about how it implements more strategy, meaning we can take the focus away from clicking, reducing number of people autoclicking/cheating. Great point.

I've been walking since I was like 1.5 years old and I've stepped like 1 million times since then. I'm honestly terrified that I'll get arthritis from using my legs too much and I'm only 16. There's a good reason track & field has never been competitive, if you're constantly using your legs there will be medical issues and they'll have pain for the rest of their life.

Realize how dumb you sound?

Also when you are clicking really fast and trying really hard you are tensing up your whole body, which is very unhealthy.

I think Minecraft will face several determining challenges on it's way to becoming an ESport but I don't think this is a major one. With badlion premium no-one will be able to autoclick anyway and I'm guessing if it did beocme an ESport they would use something similar to premium. The players who want to play and win tournaments wouldn't cheat on open as it wouldn't help them improve. As said before there are also several players who are very good with low cps.

Note - I'm still very optimistic that Minecraft will become an Esport I just think this isn't one of the determining factors.

If you get any from of hand injury from clicking a mouse then that's your problem for lack of exercise… I've been playing this game for 3 years and had no hand pain. Allowing autoclickers is a rather peculiar and ridiculous suggestion that would never be accepted purely because of the fact that autoclickers give an extreme advantage against someone who doesn't use it. To debunk your statement about permanent injury, it has been proven that jitterclicking is unrelated to carpel tunnel syndrome, too lazy to find the sources

I go for a run every morning, that has nothing to do with excessively clicking lol.

You aren't going to get a rsi from clicking 9 cps and the fact that you're so confused about that is hilarious

I kinda agree, but autoclickers shouldn't be allowed

I edited this post out, as badlion premium will now stop autoclicking :)

Well considering I got RSI from playing for like 5hrs a day at weekends, it clearly can happen - but believe as you wish.

yeah, it isn't a pleasant reality. I'm not saying it should definitely be the solution, but the scenario needs a solution, and that is an option

I've played probably 20k matches or more since I started playing badlion, assuming I'm clicking 9 cps for 10 seconds of the match where it's usually more, that's about 18 million clicks according to my calculations over the course of 2 years. Still fine, that's just you.
And my family has a history of JRA & I'm fine.
