Hey everyone. Super excited to share that the next stage of BAC and the Badlion Client is landing in today's patch! Badlion Open now has FREE support with the BAC (Badlion Anticheat) for all users. This is an old feature from the original roadmap of the BLC (Badlion Client) from all the way back during the initial announcements which can be found here: https://www.badlion.net/forum/thread/144529

When someone is connected to Badlion Open using the Badlion Minecraft Client (meaning BAC is enabled), you will see this symbol next to their name in chat:

As you recall in our previous post (https://www.badlion.net/forum/thread/143510) about the new client anti-cheat (BAC) coming to Badlion, we will have a much more cheat free environment. We will be allowing users to utilize BAC software on some of the Badlion Open game modes and features. Below is a breakdown of how Badlion Open will be taking advantage of BAC:

In game tag if you are running BAC: If you are currently connected with BAC, all players will be able to visibly see that you are playing with BAC enabled. This will help legit players prove they are legit and help remove a lot of the stigma that everyone who beats you is cheating. It is recommended that if you can, you should always run BAC whether you are premium or not to improve your in game experience (better connection, fixed glitches, less hackusations).

Prove you’re legit on the Badlion Arena ladder: ~~If you play 50 games in a row of a ladder with BAC enabled (100% of games also works if you have played less than 50)~~ you will have a symbol next to your name on the ladder page signifying you play with BAC. If you have every ladder with the BAC symbol, it also shows up on global. This is available to ALL players. ~~Please note you lose your BAC status if you play a game without BAC enabled and have to re-earn it.~~

Prove you’re legit in Badlion UHC and minigames: UHC/minigames you fully complete with only the BAC enabled (never relog without the BAC on) will be a stat tracked on your UHC and other minigame stats.

End of Arena Season Tournaments: The top x amount of players on the global ladder with the BAC symbol will be allowed to enter an end of season tournament for a prize. This is available to ALL players.

UHC Championship Game: We will require all participants to be running BAC during it, along with meeting the normal requirements to quality for a UHC Championship Game.

Ability to play Badlion Open Arena AC only: If you are a Badlion Premium Subscriber, you can toggle this option to guarantee you only get matched against other people running the anticheat. While free/plus members cannot guarantee only AC matches, if they run the AC while playing there will be a greater chance of playing against another player with the AC active.

I have crossed out part of the second feature. Now in order to get your BAC badge it will require a high percentage of all matches to be played on BAC in order to receive your BAC badge. Exact values will come with the patch notes of Season 15.

I have also crossed out the last feature on this list, as it has been modified for Season 15 to work a bit differently. Free players will get their 10 ranked matches as always, registered users get 20 matches, and we will be giving out 30 matches to users who are using BLC (Badlion Client), which automatically has BAC running on Badlion Open.

There are no limitations to BAC on Badlion Open ArenaPvP Ranked Matches. We have removed this restriction and this means the only restriction is the number of ranked matches you have available like always. Anyone can toggle BAC only matchmaking on Season 15. You simply have to be using BLC (Badlion Client) which will come with the BAC support.

We have other awesome features planned for BAC and Badlion Open for free such as:

1. No Antixray for BAC players on Open UHC's
2. Special designated minigames that require BAC (all players will need BLC to play in these)
3. Something extra that I can't talk about yet :)

Please note not all above features are available yet and will be made available over the next few months.

As extensively described above Badlion Open now is getting some integration for the Badlion Client besides just launching and playing on it. We will be rolling out the above features over the next few months.

We have introduced unicode support into the Badlion Client. The client will now work for players with non-english characters in their name and on certain operating systems like Hebrew Windows 10.

Furthermore we have released the beginning stages of a user interface makeover on the Minecraft client which includes a new mod config interface. We will continue improving the interfaces over upcoming updates to the Badlion Client.

Betterframes has been given some new config options and some overall automatic improvements to boost your FPS!

Season 3 for the Arena 1v1 League now displays on the client leaderboards profile pages

We are super excited to be adding integration of the Badlion Client into Badlion Open. We have other awesome features planned for both Badlion Open and the Badlion Client that are going to make both of them shine even more in the future together.

Allow OBS/Discord to work without needing to elevate to Admin privileges

Global Queueing - Be able to leave the PLAY menu and go use other parts of the client while in queue (Planned 1.2 Patch)

Party System - Duo Queue support (Planned 1.2 Patch)

Scrim Servers - Group up with your friends and practice some 5v5's on the PUG game modes (important for some upcoming stuff) (Planned 1.2 Patch)

Beta Builds - Opt in to receive beta builds of the Badlion Client before they go public (Aiming for 1.2 Patch)

Rating Graphs for player progression (similar to our ArenaPvP 1v1 rating graphs) (TBD)

More detailed information about queues and estimated matchmaking times (TBD)

Spectating Friends (TBD)

~~Logs only save when you exit the entire client. They won't save if the client is still running~~

~~Some Minecraft mechanics need fixing still for 1.7 compatibility~~

Sometimes the Minecraft client does not connect to the server after launching

Bows act a bit funny in the BLC

Possible small memory leak when launching Open or Arena 1v1 with BAC

FIRST + so hyped for this, thanks so much for adding the star next to your name so players can prove they are legit when playing on UHC and/or other minigames so hosts and staff can focus there time on other players who potentially cheat.
