So I have been mod for quite awhile here on the Badlion Network and many players have came to me saying they've been false banned by GCheat. They tell me, 'here is a list of the mods in my folder, I promise I don't hack!'. I'm not saying GCheat is perfect, however sometimes it's not GCheat's fault. So here's a few things to keep in mind when it comes to your Minecraft Mods.

First thing's first, I HIGHLY recommend the Badlion Client. The Client is in 1.7 has been updated tremendously since the first time it came out. It includes almost all the mods any PvPer would use & includes the Legal minimap mod. Click here for more info about the Client....

Please be sure you are using the format and providing correct evidence. You may also talk to some of your local mods on the Badlion discord :) DISCORD HERE

[When Downloading a Mod]

** I'd like to emphazise that if the mod in NOT on the forum page listed above, then assume it is not allowed. If you are caught with the mod that is not listed, you will be banned and it will be your fault**

1) Find the original creator of the mod. You will not get a more legit version of your mod except from the Creator themselves.

2) Make sure it's reliable. You may have the creator, but do double check look through more than 1 video/website before downloading a mod.

3) Ask around. Ask your REAL friends, mods, what they used to download or how they got the mod.. Lot's of these mods are unreliable, some have been seen to have some form of hack/add extra reach to your pvp. Also some of your friends may be unreliable, so be sure to ask more than 1.

4) DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE FIRST LINK YOU SEE. I'm sure many have told you not to click random clicks, moreso ones that require you to downloading things. Double check the links. There have been many scam links that look like the URL of the website but it's not. [Ex. prt.sc IS NOT the real Lightshot nor is gya.zo]

[What happens if you still get banned?]

As much as it 2017, some people still don't realize that butterfly clicking is not allowed. GCheat will ban you for it. So don't do it.
If you were butterfly clicking, then it is your fault whether you knew or not (Now you do) so be sure to put 'Guilty' in your appeal.

When you're creating your appeal, be honest. Do not just put 'Guilty' because you want to be unbanned. If you actually were hacking, then put that in your appeal. Nobody is judging you, infact it's better if you're honest.

If your appeal was denied, and you are 100% sure that you were not hacking, then one of your mods were most likely unreliable, and even if you did not know it is still your fault for not being careful enough to find a reliable link. There have been multiple cases where people were banned IN STREAM, and they did not know why or what happened. So please, be careful.
