Trying to create some variety so that it's not the same thing each game all the time (like 1/100 games would have a random event). You won't know before joining.
Special events are always welcomed, variety is great. I like the idea of not knowing what will happen until playing the game, it is cool and creates some excitement. +1

128 players would be epic! :DI would like if people started with the same stuff, but that just my opinion.
By the way, will Australia have an AU server for this as soon as its released, or will be have to wait like in mini UHC?

I'd say in the middle of maps have one chest with enderpearls and a compass that tracks the nearest player. This would counter camping and give incentive to rush mid.Posted on 18 August 2015 - 11:55 PM

8 player maps? Yes.16 player maps? Yes.
128 player maps? Yes. xD
All of the above? I personally think that you should do all of the above,because 8 player maps will probably be tryharding players, 16 is okay,casual games,and 128 would be perfect for playing just for fun.So i suggest that you add progression system on 8 and 16 player maps but not on 128 if thats possible.Just like someone said when you hit certain amount of wins you get a rank up,and with that a bit better kit i guess.But don't make kits too overpowered that would not be interesting,kits should be made so that a lower rank can actually kill higher rank.

I think the progression system should be based off an attribute that every Player can equally gain without much skill. Maybe Kills/Team Kills or something along those lines. But y'know Badlion is a competive Server maybe you could base it off Wins. But that my lose some of the fun playing. I gotta tell 'ya, Hypixel hit the nail on this. Your team need to pull out something BIG for SkyWars to get as popular as Hypixel's; BIG, I TELL YOU, BIG!o/

I love skywars and will enjoy it once it comes out! I don't have suggestions in player size - but have some idea for kits.(Basic kit) Zombie- Leather chest plate and boots and a wooden sword
(Basic kit) Skeleton- Unenchanted bow and 8 arrows
(Donator kit) Witch- 3 poison potions
(Donator kit) Creeper- Start with 1 TnT and get another every 20 seconds (TnT is throwable)
(Advanced kit) Blaze- Flame 1 bow and 4 (BLAZE) arrows - player cannot use normal arrows with their Blaze bow
(Advanced kit) Enderman- 3 ender pearls
(Advanced kit)Wolf- 5 Spawn wolf eggs for a wolf army
In terms for getting the kits:
Basic- you can choose from zombie or skeleton even if it is your first game
Donator- you must be a donator to use your kits
Advanced- Every kill you get 1 point, every win 5 points- advanced kits will be achieved using your points- but a kit can't be 10 points- it has to be hard to get.
Kit rules: Basic kits have a cool down of 5 minutes after use.
Donator kits have a cool down of 10 minutes after use.
Advanced kits have a cool down of 15 minutes per use unless you use points to buy the kit for games
Once you unlock a kit you have it forever but can also purchase it for 1 game use. Which will be much less points but sometimes will be useful

I'd like to see fully customizable kits.Give each player 100 "points" to create a kit from. Different items would cost different amounts (ex: Bow - 70 pts, arrows - 5 pts each). Players could make their own special loadout.
You could also have different point kit games.
You could have 0 point games (No kit), 50 point games (small kit), 100, 500, etc.
