So this morning on NA1 ArenaPvP, everything was going great, besides the fact that I got toggled on by a 1300 and got drained mutliple times from 1800 to 1600.But that's not the point. I'd been called bad multiple times (because apparently a girl can't be good at strafing and clicking) and I'm used to that, but I joined a match against the IGN "FrozenIceCream". And he started to skybase, which pissed me off.
I asked him politely to get down. He said no. I said I'd get a staff member on if he didn't. He just said "k". I kept on typing in chat and all he responded was "k" every time. It angered me, so I said, "Can you not just reply 'k' to everything I say?" I realized I messed up when everyone else started spamming "k" in chat, which bothered me even more. It's not until he started building up farther that I shot him off and he fell to his death.
This was what the conversation was after the match. And yes, whenever I said something, other people said "k" to annoy me:
ThatStubbornGirl: People like you annoy me LOL
FrozenIceCream: k
ThatStubbornGirl: You do realize you're breaking the rules, right?
FrozenIceCream: idc
People started to complain about me. They told me that I needed to shut up, that I'm annoying, that I'm "on my period", and someone even said that I sounded like their ex-girlfriend when they broke up with her.
Even an SG mod told us that "it was a block game and we needed to chill". I agree that we did, but I was so angry about certain comments. I shut up anyway, but I wasn't too keen on how the situation went.
Here's the thing. I can tolerate people telling me that I'm "a scrub", I'm "eZ", I'm "bad"… What I cannot tolerate is people making jokes based on my sex. It makes me feel inferior, and quite frankly, it's sexist.
Sexism: (n) prejudice, stereotyping, or discrimination on the basis of sex.
Stereotyping, hmm? I was stereotyped by people assuming I was "on my period". It's quite rude.
You can tell me I'm a whiny little bitch all I want, or that I shouldn't be posting this. But hey, it's 2015. Wake the fuck up. If you generally want any respect from a girl, this isn't the way to go. It's common sense.
Men are equal to women.
That's all.
EDIT: I am not in any way defending women being sexist towards men. I forgot to mention this, and I'm sorry, as I have seen many situations in this community where females have been sexist towards males. We need to step up and work on this. All of us. Thanks <3

I personally think everybody is equal and while some people might have different views on where a certain race or sex stands in equality, they don't have to express it publicly and tell a stranger they are "On their period".

I will agree being a girl on minecraft or any video game is kind of tough. Whenever you are slightly upset uneducated boys feel the need to make the comment "are you on your period because you got a little upset?!".It's happened to me multiple times and I don't like it either. I'm glad for this post.

I can't say this better. It's been proved multiple times by history that females are just as good as my idiotic gender. (I apologize for that dumbass by the way, he's an example of the 10 year olds that don't give a shit about hacking, not caring if they waste the staff's time and other player's time.) I'm sorry that a lot of boys are stupid, most of them are either young or too full of themselves to think a girl could be better, and it makes me sick whenever something like this happens.

I wonder how many Feminists are on BadLion? I mean if u cant get told that u are on ur period by a 8 year old that doesnt even know what a vagina looks like then .-.And yes of course, theres sexism on badlion…. but this post didnt say anything about the females attacking the men? U guys can act like ur completely perfect cause ive been attacked by girls on badlion before Telling me i have a small penis and other things…. i really think there is an equal amount of sexism in this community i mean cmon u guys cant say that these girls have never said anything like that to a male in this community?

I'm not saying that. Sexism goes both ways, and I hate how people generalize it to make it seem like men only attack women. This post is about what happened to me. In the sexism definition in my main post, I took out a part that said "mostly applied to females", because that's not true. As I do clarify myself as a feminist, I don't understand why it's called femimism. We fight for women being equal to men with all rights, but by calling it "feminism", we make it look like we're fighting for women over men. Equalist is a much better term, but I'd get hated on for calling myself one.
I thought about putting what you mentioned in my post, but I realized that I was sharing my experiences on Badlion only. As this is a Badlion Forum Thread, I talked about what I saw today. I should've put what you said, and I'm sorry I didn't. I'll actually edit it.

@PrinceWilhelm Thank you so much for understanding what i mean, i seen your edit and it's very true this whole community Male or female has to step it up, of course there is going to be those 10 year olds that dont know what they are talking about, but this WHOLE community needs to step it up.<3
