We haven't confirmed this as the overall issue. So far it has not been, we are still looking for this terrible bug. We will get you something though for reporting an issue to us that was causing other issues though :)

Maybe that thing that people can do where they block glitch across the walls does something.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'm talking about the glitch that the block limit thing in Build UHC lets you do, you can basically staircase across the walls for as long as you want until you get kicked for flying (or if you fall off). Also what is weird about this is that when you get kicked for flying and you get back on and try to join a party, it crashes your minecraft lol.

This probably doesn't have anything to do with the lag but it is a glitch that needs to be fixed. @MasterGberry

Yeah this is a client side exploit and you can be banned for it.

This is not the issue we are looking for though.

Maybe the server gets lag spikes because so many people play and it has to generate a bunch of different maps all at once, which makes the server generation thing overload or something and cause a lag spike. I don't really know how any of this server stuff works so correct me if I'm wrong (I probably am)

You could move all the game modes which require placing blocks out of ArenaPvP and make it into its own server

So me and Ilikepenguinz found this glitch while playing builduhc duels (This probably doesn't cause lag but it's a glitch that has to be fixed.) Also if you don't feel like watching the video the glitch is that on a map with a glass river desert thing, on part of the map theres a glitch where you can only build up 3 blocks up but on the other side of the map you can build up to the normal block limit (4 blocks high).

I feel as if I have a response but I don't have a solution. I would like to share my response.

I believe that the problem it lags, could possibly be upon the way that GCheat works itself. When you stated how someone glitches at the end of the moment, it could possibly result in how it detects the way of its synchronization. By this I mean, once the match ends, I believe it has something with detection issues? I'm not quite sure, another theory is that it could cause the lag due to the 2 versions of 1.7 and 1.8, being combined together?

This is just what I think, I'd like replies if you have something to say.

I think I may have found a solution from your statement, I recommend opening up a server with GCheat turned off on it, see if that solves all the lag issues. Sure, I mean, you're probably thinking, "Turning off GCheat? Do you have autism, bro" and I do agree, but GCheat may be causing these lag issues aswell as the fact 2 versions are combined together.

No idea if this is it, but I just thought I'd mention it…
My theory is that these lag spikes are caused by players not pressing the respawn button when they die right when the match finishes and the map clears. The reason I bring this up is because every day I see at least 4 or so players die in the middle of the map I am fighting an opponent on, for example: I join a ranked match with Gberry, it's just a normal 1v1, and then I just see a player appear/fall and turn red and lay on the ground for around a second, this dead player then turns into particles as if they pressed the respawn button. I believe this is caused by players not respawn ing after the map clears because they are an entity that cannot be cleared by the system but only if the respawn button is pressed…
No idea if this helps but I hope it does and I just thought if being this up, thanks.

perhaps a viable solution would be to test other methods of spawning people when people die, on other servers, for example MCSG, it doesn't bring up the death screen, it just respawns you.

Yesterday i joined a combo ffa at the last second and i then spawned with no gear in gm o. Died and it said respawning in 5 seconds but it put me into creative. Is this of any help MasterGBerry?

I'm probably wrong with all of these, but w/e.
When you die, you go into the respawn menu, so you're still in the arena you died in but invisible. Because of this, there might be 2 things that happen. If you're in that mode and someone rods, the rod will stay rendered in for you, so if someone is afk for a while after dying there'll be over 300 rods cast most likely, and rods are entities and that might lag the server. Probably not, but another thing that might be the problem is that after you die you are in the respawn screen so you're still there and maybe when there's too many players in that phase, something happens? Don't know.
It most likely has to do with too many things at the same point of time which causes the server to lag, might be wrong but worth a shot.
