Hey everyone.
Today I am here with a special forum post to go over an opt in beta program that is available to all members. I have been slowly reworking our code base to try and make Mac OS X compatibility for the Badlion Client possible. I still have a long road ahead of me to make this possible, but some of the first steps are cleaning up our existing Windows Badlion Client code. There have been a lot of refactors and changes to the code base to try and make this possible. Below you will find a download link to download the beta launcher. Please feel free to help test :) It's completely optional.
Note: You will need to update manually to each new launcher beta version (check back on this thread for updates). Once we deploy this beta launcher to all users, it will automatically update your installation back to the non-beta setup.
Note: This is still a Windows only build. Mac OS X builds will appear for testing later in the year.
Note: You in theory should notice no changes and everything should work the same as before. All of the changes were internal, and nothing user facing.

I can't play with this beta launcher. I want to go back to the default launcher.
First, please submit a bug report and explain what the problem is using the information above. After that you can just re-download and install the regular launcher to continue bug free: https://www.badlion.net/download/client/latest
When will this beta launcher become the default launcher?
That depends on how many problems people find. If there are little to no problems, we will probably deploy this pretty quickly to all Badlion Client users.
Why is this not being made available to Insiders first?
I don't have an easy way to distribute launcher updates to only Insiders unfortunately. The amount of time I would waste trying to make this possible could be better spent on adding new features or improvements to the existing launcher.
When will Mac OS X Support be ready?
We still don't have a planned release date at the moment. The goal is before the end of the year (2019). We will have a separate announcement for when we are closer to a functional Mac OS X beta for people to try. We might do something similar to the Badlion Client 2 beta where people can purchase something to gain early access to the beta.

Unfortunately MAC will not have BAC available. It will have everything built into the client except the anticheat.

Idk if I'm doing something wrong, but both Launchers look exactly the same. I was hoping for a much more cleaner and updated look for the client because the current layout has been the look for almost 2 years now. It would be nice if you would specify what changes were made. All of the changes that have been made to the launcher are internal, so you shouldn't notice any changes. If you do notice something isn't working properly, then you should go ahead and create a bug report so that it can be investigated. If you take a closer look at the original post by MasterGberry, you'll see a notice explaining this near the download link.

I tried out the beta, it worked pretty good when launching. Didn't experience any problems on launch but I just wanted to go back to the stable version because I like stable versions of Minecraft.Posted on 13 August 2019 - 05:18 PM

hey i have a sugestion for the next client version(s)you can make like forge a mod client but its in the badlion client so we can put mods in the game while we using badlion
with out badlion i have 30fps with badlion i have 100+ fps so i like to have badlion while i play with other mods
